For Helen’s 70th birthday, she wanted to enjoy a day of pampering followed by a delicious meal with her family. The schedule for the day included manicures, a hair appointment, and a shopping trip, finished off with a delicious meal served by Hog Roast Brandesburton at her family home. Our team was hired to serve a delicious menu to 35 guests, which included plenty of Helen’s friends and extended family. For the menu, it was decided that a classic hog roast would be ideal, served with a selection of delicious side dishes to create a well-rounded and tasty evening meal.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Brandesburton team was busy prepping the catering while Helen was enjoying a day of fun, with the menu ready to be served at 7:00pm. We served our delicious slow-roasted hog in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and homemade applesauce. For any meat-free guests, we also provided BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious alternative to pulled pork. Additionally, we provided homemade chips, seasonal vegetables, and fresh gravy to create a balanced evening buffet. Overall, our menu was the perfect way for Helen to finish her birthday and there was plenty for every guest to enjoy- including enough for seconds! The Hog Roast Brandesburton team was happy to help out with such a great event and it was definitely a successful 70th birthday party!
