A perfect example of our versatility is the recent christening celebration we catered for Thomas and Claire. They wanted their son Arlo’s big day to be as special and perfect as possible. With 100 guests to please and a variety of dietary requirements to consider – from vegetarians to vegans and gluten-intolerant guests – the couple found it difficult to find a caterer who could provide a solution that worked for everyone. That was until they found us!
After a quick consultation to understand their needs, Hog Roast Horsforth got to work crafting the ideal spread for the occasion: our Alfresco Menu. For the meat lovers, we roasted a succulent hog to perfection, and for the vegans, we served a BBQ-pulled jackfruit alternative. But we didn’t stop there.
We wanted to ensure every guest had a truly indulgent experience, so we paired the mains with mouth-watering sides like sage and onion stuffing, applesauce, gluten-free rolls, and roasted new potatoes seasoned with garlic and rosemary. To top it all off, we offered a delicious heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, homemade gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of seasonal leaves. For extra nibbles, guests enjoyed a stunning platter of Italian cold cuts, rich cheeses, artisan breads, olives, and dressings.
As the savoury feast came to a close, we sweetened the deal with a gorgeous dessert table, featuring decadent chocolate profiteroles and zesty tarte au citron with a fresh coulis. It was the perfect finale to an unforgettable meal, and Thomas and Claire were over the moon with our service.
