Ashley and her fiancé contacted Hog Roast Rawcliffe earlier this year to arrange catering for their upcoming wedding. The couple are both originally from America but moved to the UK for university and never left! Because of this, the majority of their family are overseas, but they are lucky to have developed a close-knit friend group in England. For their wedding, the couple wanted to host two celebrations, one in England and one in America. This will allow them to enjoy their special day with everyone that is important to them! For the English celebration, Hog Roast Rawcliffe was hired to cater for the reception, which was set to be a small party with 25 guests in attendance. For the menu, the couple asked for a casual buffet, with plenty of meat-free dishes for the guests to enjoy.
On the day of the reception, the Hog Roast Rawcliffe team arrived at the beautiful venue and began preparing the catering. For the main course, we served veggie sausages and burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, pork sausages, and marinated chicken kebabs. The dishes were all served in fresh bread rolls, alongside homemade chips, sweet potato fries, crunchy coleslaw, corn on the cob, and a variety of salad dishes. The menu was perfectly suited to the guest list, with everyone able to enjoy what we had to offer. Following the delicious main course, the guests then enjoyed the elegant wedding cake provided by the couple. This was a beautiful celebration and one that was a lot of fun for Hog Roast Rawcliffe to be a part of!
